KSS was established to facilitate international families wishing to send their children to highly ranked independent schools in the UK. Providing an environment suitable for students aged 16 and over.
About the Accommodation
The student residences offered at all three locations are managed by experienced KSS staff and provide a residential environment suitable for young adults. The pastoral care in place provides international and UK families with the assurance they need whilst developing the students' independence.
Host families can accommodate students of all ages; however, they are the only option the college offers to students not old enough to live independently and not residing in our student residence.
At our Cambridge site KSS has worked with selected familes for many years. Each family has been vetted by our experienced Accommodation Officer and a number have housed students from MPW college for several years.
If you would like to find out more about this accommodation option, please feel free to email or phone us on +44 (0)207 244 1961.
For London and Birmingham we work with a host family provider who is contactable via the Accommodation Office. Please contact us at email@example.com and we can provide further information.
Meal Plans, Laundry Service & Room Cleaning
Each resident is provided with breakfast as part of their accommodation package. At some sites there is also the option of a meal plan that includes a cooked evening meal.
Kitchens and communal areas are cleaned several times a week by facilities staff and there is an opt in package for weekly room cleans. The costs for this are local to each residence and information is provided on the application form.
Fresh bed linen is provided each week and the residents have an opt in laundry service. Washing would be collected from the residence each week and returned promptly to the resident. Our suppliers are required to ensure that the same laundry that left comes back to the same resident, only cleaner.
What we do not offer
KSS is an accommodation provider which is separate to the MPW Colleges. We maintain a proactively supervised residence, students have a curfew but are expected to make their own way to the college and home again. Safeguarding procedures are in place to ensure we are aware of residents whereabouts and that they are contactable, however the practices and procedures are seen as being a stepping stone to fully independent living.
