Cambridge has been a student city since the 13th century when Cambridge University was founded and offers a wonderfully unique and relaxing learning atmosphere. It is a lively city full of beautiful college buildings, stunning architecture, museums, parks and gardens. Walking and cycling are the most popular modes of transport as much of the city and the River Cam provides a great opportunity for students to try the local pastime of punting.

Our supervised student residences are located within walking distance from the college. The colleges of the University of Cambridge are only a stone’s throw away. Whilst the famous Fitzwilliam museum nearby houses a world-class collection of sculpture, art and ancient antiques and is free entry; all providing students with ample cultural exposure to help enrich their time at MPW.

In addition, local amenities and attractions are within easy reach. Cambridge also has all the shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, cinemas and leisure facilities that you would expect in a city yet has no shortage of open green spaces. The beautiful Cambridge University Botanic Garden is close to the residence and just a two-minute walk from the college.
